MVN partners with Goggles for Guppies

According to USA Swimming, drowning is the second leading cause of accidental death for children ages 14 and under.  To most children, swimming isn’t about winning the next event, it’s about living or drowning.

Goggles for Guppies, Inc., founded by our very own Nadadores Chris and Matt Hales, is a charitable organization that receives donated swim equipment from manufacturers, retailers and athletes and then distributes the goggles, caps, suits and other gear to disadvantaged and special needs children in order to encourage them to enroll in Learn to Swim programs throughout America.  To learn more about Goggles for Guppies, please visit their website at www.gogglesforguppies.org.

A Goggles for Guppies donation container has been placed in the hallway just outside the Swim Office.  Please donate your used, clean (and dry) goggles, caps, suits, kickboards, buoys or other swim gear to that deserving children might learn the basic skills that may one day save their life.
